Forming and development of the Siberian federal university is happening in the situation of historical separation in the system of education and science in Russia.

Today, the Institute of basic biology and biotechnologies has gained a particular experience in integration of science and education in universities that do not refer to leading scientific- educational centers.
The process of integration of science and education in universities is most effectively realized in scientific educational centers (SEC) of Russian universities, created and supported by grants of Russian and foreign funds.
The purpose of SEC "Yenisey" of KSU was forming the students’ biospheric-noospherical views by means of active forms of education, providing for students, post-graduates’ participation in basic research related to problems of the ecology and stable development of the ecosystems in the conditions of anthropogenic influence.
One of the reserves for increasing the role of science in education is concluded in attracting of employees from the institute of RAS for teaching in SFU and leading the student research projects.
At present, the participation of the employees of research institutions of RAS and other departments, for whom conducting of scientific researches is a profession, is obviously insufficient in the process of education, and, in most cases, confined to leading only a small number of course works and degree works, being done by students of universities.
The most part of the course and degree works are done on topics quite distant from actual scientific problems.
Though at present the staff of teachers in SFU is increased, including the employees of institutes of KSC SB of RAS, the new employees of SFU, being professionals in research activities, do not know enough about educational technologies, the organization of training and have a little experience in using the research work for training students.
In these circumstances, to use the opportunities which opened up in connection with creating the Siberian federal university in Krasnoyarsk in full, to pass on the methodology of scientific researches in the course of students’ educational process, as well as to use the training potential of the research works, it is necessary to solve a problem regarding the methodical support of the research activity of the teachers and students.
The problem of joining efforts and establishing contacts between specialists who have the experience mostly in education, and specialists whose professional experience is specialized in research work, but who at present are attracted to working in the Institute of basic biology and biotechnologies (IBB and BT) of SFU.
The modern information technologies (IT), as well as the level of development of telecommunication technologies in SFU allow spreading of informational-methodical materials on performing the research work through local computer network.

If you choose a specialization in Biochemical Physics, the study will be based on the classic program of the Physics Department.
Thus, you will have the opportunity to become an expert in the field of physico-mathematical sciences.
If you are closer to the biological area, the choice of Biology or Biochemistry specialties will give you the opportunity to succeed in natural sciences.
The Institute is staffed with modern equipment for the full training of students; also the institute is opened for the dialogue with entrants and school teachers.
In the modernization of research activities «superiority Centers» of Institute of basic biology and biotechnology are the following:
1) Biotechnology of new materials
Purpose: Training of world-leveled specialists of biotechnology, armed with advanced knowledge necessary to address the critical issues of our time: the reproduction of food, raw materials and energy resources, development of new environmentally friendly biomaterials, and technology for cell and tissue engineering and bioartificial bodies; molecular-genetic design producers, the development of highly-closed rotation technologies of target products synthesis and waste recycling.
2) The management of aquatic ecosystems and water quality.
3) A new generation of biosensors for environment and medicine.
4) Training of specialists of molecular genetic analysis.

The purpose of REC «Yenisei» of KSU was the formation of students' Biosphere-noosphere outlook on the basis of active forms of learning, involving students, graduate students in basic scientific research on environmental issues and sustainable development of ecosystems in terms of anthropogenic impact.
One of the reserves for increasing the role of science in the education is in the attraction of the colleagues of institutes of RAoS [Russian Academy of Science] for teaching in SFU and supervising student research projects.
Currently, staff involvement, Russian Academy of Sciences research institutions and other agencies for which research is a profession in the educational process is clearly inadequate and in most cases limited to only a small number of the leadership course and degree of work performed by university students.
A large amount of themes chosen for term papers and graduation thesis are far from relevant scientific issues.
Despite the fact that the teaching staff of SFU is currently widen with employees of institutions of Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, the new staff is professional in research, but not enough professional in educational technology, organization of educational process and has a limited experience of using research in teaching students.
In these circumstances, it is necessary to solve the problem of methodological support of research activity of teachers and students in order to fully exploit the opportunities opened up in connection with the establishment of the Siberian Federal University in Krasnoyarsk, transfer of research methodology in the educational process of students, as well as use the full potential of educational research.
A major problem seems to bring together and enhance communication between professionals with experience in education and specialists whose professional experience is limited to providing researches, but who are brought to work in the Institute of Basic Biology and Biotechnology (IoBBaBT) of SFU.
